Broken Resolutions BWWM Holiday Romance Book 4 - Two Weeks Notice

I’ve had enough. I’m resigning. I’ll be leaving in two weeks. But my boss is trying to convince me to stay...indefinitely.

My boss is not a terrible person. Is he arrogant? Yes. Overconfident? Absolutely. Powerful? He’s the CEO of a world-renowned company. (So...yes.) But he is more than just a handsome and physically fit individual. He genuinely cares about his company, his employees, and when he sets his mind on something, he is relentless. This is why it’s so difficult for me to depart.

My job would be fantastic...if my boss would allow me to actually do it! Instead of carrying out regular duties for the company, I am spending all day looking after his son. My boss does not take me or my aspirations seriously, so it’s time for me to hand in my resignation.

However, my boss insists that he cannot find a replacement for me within two weeks. In fact, he believes that he may not be able to find a replacement...ever.
